PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics is a center within Harvard College that seeks to educate indivudals in ethical reasoning and civic discussion. Part of this process is developing pedagogy material that teaches these valuable lessons so that other indivudals can use it. It was my job on this project to design and build a website that both houses this pedagogy material as well as informs about what the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics is.

PROJECT GOALS:

The main goal of this project was to create an easily accesible and navigable database of pedagogy material for users to explore and download. Additionally, another goal of this project was to take the existing branding on the Center for Ethics and build on it to create a website that is both cohesive with exisiting material and creates for an easy user experience (UX).

PROJECT OUTCOMES:

This project accomplished all major goals that were originally established. First, I implemented an easily searchable database that could be managed by the client on the back-end of the website, and was easily filterable and downloadable for users on the front-end. Additonally, by extending the color palette of the Center for Ethics, I was able to create a brand that is both cohesive with the original branding and allows for a high-contrast User-Interface (UI) that results in a better user-experience (UX).
