Notes + Updates

In its first 6 months post-launch, Teamfi has helped athletic coaches across the U.S. raise $250,000.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

This ongoing project is one that is very dear to me. As a Co-founder of Teamfi, the end goal of the project is and always will be to empower coaches an entire school districts with all the tools necessary to run full-fledged fundraisers to keep their teams and programs afloat. This goal certainly did not lend itself to an “easy” project or a “quick win”. As you will see, this project has many content-packed screens which required careful deliberation over priority, hierarchy, and usability. As always, this process and the ongoing development was catalyzed by a whole lot of research.

PROJECT GOALS:

From a user experience perspective, the goal of this web-app was pretty straight-forward: design and develop an app that makes it excruciatingly easy for a high school coach to run a fully-digital fundraiser. This is no easy task for a project that required a way for a coach to send SMS notifications, process payments, and utilize a fundraiser-performance analytics dashboard. In fact, the reason this project so hard was exactly why it was a good idea – nobody had every built a tool like this before.

PROJECT OUTCOMES:

Let me preface by saying this project is ongoing, as it is not for a client but a project of my own, so the “outcomes” per say are constantly evolving. With that said, we are int he process of delivering an easy-to-use platform for high school coaches, school administrators, and athletic directors alike. This platform provides users with a fully functional suite of tools that allow them to create, operate, and manage their own fundraisers assuming zero previous knowledge.
