PROJECT OVERVIEW:

This project was an incredibly fun one – with the innovation of Web3 and the DeFi space, we sought to create a conceptual design for an incredibly user-friendly design. The Zeezy DeFi app is one that was design to allow for users to trade two different asset classes (fixed yield products and variable yield products) across three different cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USD Coin).

PROJECT GOALS:

From a usability standpoint the Zeezy DeFi Web App sought to make trading and staking cryptocurrencies a delightful, straight-forward experience; this is something that is not always a given in the Web3 space. In addition, a goal of the concept app was to provide the educational tools and labels to clearly provide the risks associated with trading across the two different asset classes. In summary, the main goal of this app was to make an app that made the Web3 space less intimaidating and more human-centered. In addition to the user-experience goals, we also sought to use this app exploration to build off the Zeezy brand in a way that leveraged pre-existing brand equity, while also finding a creative way to adapt it to the highly innovative and compelling DeFi space.

PROJECT OUTCOMES:

This project accomplished both the user-experience and brand goals. The clean and straight-forward app design allows the user to easily navigate and distinguish the two asset classes and all three cryptocurrencies, as well as the differing risks and upsides associated with each. Additionally, by putting the user in the driver's seat with an interactive earnings projector, a dedicated eductational “learn more” page, and the provided ability to change the app interface (UI) from grid-view to row-view (reflecting more traditional finance apps), the user gains control of the product – enstilling confidence in the user and a positive user-experience (UX). Additionally, from a branding perspective, the app utilizes the dynamic Zeezy branding in a new, refreshing way that is adapted to the Web3 space, while not entirely straying from the prexisting Zeezy brand-equity.
